Subcontractor Stole Garage Doors After Dispute With Contractor: Byram Township PD

In a dispute between a contractor and a subcontractor in Sussex County, the garage door was the real victim.

A 46-year-old Newton subcontractor was arrested after he uninstalled garage doors following an argument with a contractor on Wednesday, Jan. 10 in Byram Township, police said.

Officers responded to a report of stolen garage doors at a residence on Ranger Trail when they discovered Vincent Sciroppo, the subcontractor had absconded with the garage doors following the tiff, police said.

Sciroppo was charged with burglary and theft and released pending a court date.
